Our Solutions

Some of the solutions we offer at Bülent Klise:

ZeroFlex

A screen image with 1% density does not reflect as 1% in print. Due to dot gain terminology, a 1% screen image can increase to 5% or even 10% in print. Our ZeroFlex solution minimizes dot gain to 0% by thinning out dots on the plate surface, adjusting the adhesion rate of the material, and using microcells, allowing for a more homogeneous print with minimal dips.

CutFlex

The plate cutting process is a time-consuming and attention-demanding process that varies according to the conditions of the print. However, with our Cutflex service, we automate this process, minimizing potential errors and allowing you to use your time more efficiently.

HardFlex

The Hardflex technology operates directly on the raw material using laser processing as an alternative to standard CTP (Computer-to-Plate) systems. The material used in this technology is strong EPDM, also used in car tires, which does not interact with substances like solvents and alcohols during the printing process, ensuring durable prints.

InfinityFlex

Due to the way flexo plates used in printing are cut into plates and wound around the printing cylinder, a natural binding gap occurs. With our InfinityFlex solution, we ensure that this gap is processed automatically with the cylinder, resulting in uninterrupted printing without a binding gap.

3DFlex

An extension of the Bsleeve technology, 3DFlex allows customization of the depths of valleys and widths of shoulders of dots on the plate surface according to the material to be printed and the requirements of the printing machine.

MaxFlex

Our MaxFlex solution is developed to eliminate printing problems seen in 100% areas, known as "pinholes." We offer a complete package including special materials, exposure, and screening systems required for this process.

FlatFlex

After the CTP process, the points on the plate surface can become rounded during exposure. Our FlatFlex system prevents this by ensuring consistently flat-topped point production. These flat-topped points standardize force control in printing and eliminate groove marks in corrugated printing jobs.

MinFlex

Our MinFlex solution is created using special plate systems such as Kodak Nx Flexcell and special screening systems like Esko ScreenManager. This solution extends the adhesive minimum points on the plate surface beyond the limits without the need for bump processing for dot adhesion, providing a 4-pixel minimum dot that enhances print quality in higher screenings and ensures more precise and homogeneous transitions in areas down to 0% in graphics.

Recommendations for Plate Usage and Maintenance

Below, you can find information about the correct cutting of plates, appropriate solvent details, and how they should be stored.

  • How Should Plates be Cut?

    When plates need to be cut, they should be cut from the back surface of the plate (from the bottom relief base) at a 90-degree angle. Otherwise, if there is too much air space between the photopolymer part and the relief, it may cause air passage and paint may leak with the solvent, making the plate unusable in a short time.

  • Plates should be cleaned before removal at the end of the print.

    Plate cleaning can be done with Gilkol, Ethanol, or a mixture of Ethanol/Ethylacetate. The ratio of Ethylacetate added to Ethanol should not exceed 15%, otherwise, it may cause the plates to skip and result in poor quality or inability to print in subsequent prints.

  • Solvents such as Benzene, Toluene, and Ketones should never be used for cleaning.

    During printing, the amount of Acetate and delaying solvent added to the ink should be limited. (Ethylacetate ratio max. 15%, Ketone ratio max. 5%). Otherwise, it may cause surface gelling and result in poor quality or inability to print in subsequent prints.

  • Cleaned plates should be stored in a cool, dry, and dark environment; they should not be stored in direct sunlight.

    Plates should not be left rolled on the cylinder.

    If plates are stacked on top of each other, suitable material should be placed between them to prevent sticking, no object should be placed on top of the plates, and too many plates should not be stacked on top of each other.
